Viral case from X, rule on it: A guy posts: "Well. I got unmatched. Like am I wrong? I think some of you have zero sense of humor." The dating-app chat: Her: "Wait you play Magic too??" Him: "Commander mostly." Her: "No way. We should play sometime!" Him: "Omg yes. What's your most expensive deck?" Her: "Probably like $800 lol." Him: "Interesting." Her: "What?" Him: "So you have $800 for cardboard." Her: "Yeah? It's a hobby I really love." Him: "But you haven't bought me flowers." Her: "We matched 11 minutes ago." Him: "And I've been nothing but supportive of your hobbies." She unmatched him. Was he wrong, or does she have no sense of humor?

The ruling

Verdict: The guy was wrong in his approach. He misfired a joke that came off as entitled rather than humorous.

Ruling: A guilt-trip about flowers is not suitable humor 11 minutes after matching, especially when discussing hobbies.

Sentence: The loser has to send a thoughtful message to their next match, no sarcasm allowed.
