💜 Relationships

AI relationship advice that doesn't take your side.

Nearly half of married adults have already asked an AI about their relationship, almost always alone, which is why it tends to agree with whoever's typing. SharedChat's Relationships room is the version with both of you in it: an AI told in writing never to pick a winner, that explains what each of you is asking for.

How it works

A space for the two of you to be heard.

Both of you, same thread

Nothing is said to the AI that the other person can't see. That single fact changes how people write.

No winner, by design

The room is instructed never to declare who's right. Instead it names what each of you is asking for, and what you're each hearing.

Honest, not therapy-speak

It's told to talk like a thoughtful friend, not a clinician: plain language, real math when money's involved, no diagnoses.

It knows when to step out

Coercive control, threats, or anyone's safety: the room doesn't "find a compromise." It says so plainly and points to real help.

RelationshipsYou're not asking me to pick, and I'm not going to. Elena is being offered the thing she has aimed at for years. Theo just earned something that only exists where you are. Both are real, and neither is a bluff. What usually helps here is naming the deadline, what each of you would actually be giving up, and whether there's a version, remote work, a delayed start, a two-year plan, that costs one of you less. Start there, not with who caves.

Questions

Relationships, answered.

Is it okay to use AI for relationship advice?

Used alone, it's risky: the AI only hears you, so it validates you, and a third of people already say a chatbot "gets" them better than their spouse. Used together, both of you in the same room with an AI that won't pick sides, it's closer to a fair, well-read friend. That's what this room is built for.

Is this couples therapy?

No. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or replace a counselor. It helps two people say what they mean and hear what the other one said. If you need a therapist, it'll say so.

What if my partner won't join?

Send the link. Reading takes no account. Many people join once they see the AI isn't on anyone's side. If they won't, a private room still works; just know it only hears you.

Is it private?

Rooms are private to the people in them. Nothing is shared by link unless you choose to share it. You can delete your account and data any time.
