SharedChat vs. everyone else

Few AIs do group chat. We built one that stays fair to everyone in it.

Turns out this is harder than it looks. ChatGPT piloted group chats in 2025 and retired them in July 2026, so a shared ChatGPT is read-only now. Poe still runs them for up to 200 people, aimed at comparing models. Here is where each one stops, where the "settle it" and co-parenting apps stop, and what we built instead.

Where they're better than us (yes, really)

We'd rather you hear it from us.

ChatGPT is bigger, more polished, and better at solo work than anything we will build. It tried group chats and retired them in 2026, so today a shared ChatGPT is read-only. For one person at a keyboard, it is excellent.
Poe lets you put 200 people and a huge roster of models in one chat. If you want to compare many AIs at once, that's its strength.
Co-parenting apps like OurFamilyWizard and TalkingParents keep court-friendly records, calendars, and expense logs. We don't do that. Many families use one of those for the paperwork and SharedChat for the actual conversation.
"Settle it" apps are cheap and fun for a bar bet. If nobody needs to talk it through, they're fine.
